Warranty - on used car engines is not always given but UsedCarEngines.co.uk feel that it really matters to customers. Engines provided by us and our circle of suppliers come with a minimum 28 days warranty (fully tested)...

If you choose to buy an engine via Usedcarengines.co.uk and we select a supplier to deliver you a used engine, the warranty given is direct from the supplier. This means that Usedcarengines.co.uk do not give you a warranty (on the supply basis) but the suppliers will and the original receipt from the supplier includes the sales number and warranty given (available on request).

You will also receive a handling and courier receipt from us too that together totals the amount paid.

Any issues with the engine supplied (by the supplier) must be reported to us and then the supplier. We will do our up most to ensure the supplier sorts any problems for you.

Warranty and Terms: When our suppliers provide an engine the total price customers pay is for the engine, courier cost and handling. Any warranty issues must be reported to us/ our supplier - ASAP. Contact details of the supplier and sales number will be provided on request. If in a rare instance the engine is faulty and needs to be replaced or later refunded customers should take note that the handling (service provided to sourcing an engine) and also the original courier cost is not refundable. Engines must be fitted by a fulltime professional with a company name and number for warranty to stand. New CAM belts must be fitted prior to starting the engine supplied. We take no responsibility for the labor costs incurred if the engine supplied is faulty as we cannot always test the engines ourselves. Example: engine supplied at £1,000 + £60 delivery = total of £1060.00 Handling charge 25% of total spent plus courier costs (none refundable). Refund would total £750. Full time professionals must fit any engines supplied for warranty to stand. Engines are supplied by the engine code/s given by the customer and not refundable if wrong, although if a replacement is available it will be send out once the exact wrongly ordered engine has been received by us. Terms: customers must agree to the above and notice that buying used goods is riskier than buying brand new, however the majority of the time buying used can be more efficient. Engines sent to buyers that have been ‘special ordered’ (from suppliers) cannot be returned if they are the exact engine type originally requested by the buyer. Engines being used for track days/ racing/ rallying will be limited to a maximum of 14 days warranty.
